• Minimal pinpoint bleeding
• Mild redness

Cleansing:

• Cold water may be used for the 1st day post treatment. After day 1, it is important to maintain clean skin. Be sure to use a simple and gentle cleanser, we recommend Cetaphil Facial Cleanser.

Sun exposure and Make up:

• Strict sun avoidance for 7 days post procedure. You may begin applying SPF daily starting 24 hours post treatment. Makeup can be applied 24 hours post procedure, however discontinue if you experience any irritation as skin may be more sensitive during the healing period.

Exercise:

• Avoid exercise for 24 hours or until redness is resolved.

SkinCare Regimen:

• Continue skin care as normal with exception of Retinols or direct acids until redness resolves. Do not use prescription strength retinol for 7 days prior or post treatment. If you’re unsure of what skincare to use post treatment, talk to your provider and see what they recommend is best for your skin type.

Schedule:

• Your next VirtueRF treatment can be scheduled in 4-6 weeks. Your provider will discuss a custom treatment plan with you to meet your goals.

After care with add ons:

• PRP or Exosomes: Wash your face starting the evening after the procedure with cool water and gentle cleanser, then follow instructions as given above
• Micropeel: Wash your face starting the evening after the procedure with cool water and gentle cleanser. Apply a thin layer of Phyto Gel twice a day for 24 hours, then moisturize as normal
• CO2:Wash your face starting the evening after the procedure with cool water and gentle cleanser. Apply a thin layer of Phyto Gel night 1 and morning 1 post treatment. By night 2 you can use a small amount of Aquaphor (24 hours post treatment) and then gentle moisturizer day 3 twice a day for 3 days.
